About Me
Meet Melissa, Wokingham's award-winning skin health specialist and corneotherapist.
My passion for skincare began as a teenager when I struggled with eczema that spread all over my face and became prone to infection. This personal experience gave me a deep understanding of how skin conditions can affect confidence and wellbeing.
For the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself entirely to skincare, constantly expanding my knowledge and qualifications to provide the best possible care for my clients.
My Journey
I spent nearly 20 years working in marketing and licensing before deciding to pursue my true calling in skincare at age 40. Although I completed my basic skin training during maternity leave in 2005, it took time before I made the leap to focus exclusively on what I love.
As a Corneotherapist, I specialise in skin health and skin barrier function, focusing primarily on facial treatments. This approach is rooted in science and centres on repairing and maintaining the skin's protective barrier. I am a proud member of the International Institute of Corneotherapy.
